Meet Our Staff

A small staff manages Golden Slipper Camp year-round with support from the volunteer Board of Directors. During the summer, our staff grows to ensure that our operation runs smoothly, and our campers are actively engaged.

  • Tom O'Neill, Camp Director
  • Nanci Gilberg, Needs Coordinator
    • With Golden Slipper Camp for more than 10 years, Nanci Gilberg works behind the scenes to secure a host of items we need to run camp, such as food, medicine, snacks, and more. Because of Nanci's hard work, we're able to keep camper fees low. "I love to work for Golden Slipper Camp," Nanci says, "because it is a magical place and it makes such a difference in our campers' lives." Nanci also oversees the Angels' Dinner, our largest fundraiser.
  • Jennifer Scarlata, Camp Administrator
    • Jennifer Wolov Scarlata oversees the myriad administrative details for Golden Slipper Camp's general operations, including grant sourcing and grant writing; special event planning and organization; and coordination of all of the various meetings. With Golden Slipper for more than 8 years, Jenn also is involved in recruiting, interviewing and hiring staff; camper recruitment; and development of our new counselor in training program. "I love working with children and their families, whether it is camp, teaching, or coaching!"
  • Kristin Grapes, Enrollment Coordinator
    • Kristin Grapes is the newest member of the Golden Slipper Family, coming from a 10 year background in the camping field. Kristin manages the hundreds of campers and families that enroll and inquire about GSC every year. If you have any questions related to camp or the application process, Kristin is the person to call!
