What’s it like to work at Golden Slipper?

What roles are available?

Each summer, we hire for a range of positions, including:

  • Cabin Counselors

  • Activity Specialists (sports, music, drama, adventure, swimming, and more)

  • Village Leaders

  • Lifeguards & Swim Instructors

  • Wellness Center & Kitchen Staff

  • Office Support & Leadership Roles

We also welcome returning alumni and junior staff eager to take on new challenges.

Is there training or professional development?

Yes! Before campers arrive, all staff participate in a comprehensive orientation and leadership program. You’ll gain practical skills in communication, inclusion, safety, and camper engagement — lessons that last far beyond the summer.

What’s staff life like?
